Hi! I’m Kristin, and I believe the launch to adulthood is a crucial transition to get right.

I’m a university educator with expertise in navigating student transitions from high school to college, and from college to post-graduate life. As a professional in higher education with a master’s degree in educational leadership, I’ve spent the last 14 years supporting over 3,000 students as they arrive and depart from campuses across the midwest through my professional work in college orientation, parent programs, academic advising, and student leadership development. My experience working at both private and public universities gives me insight into the needs of students making the transition to and from college, and the tools that parents and families can use to support them in making those transitions successfully.

If you’re a high school senior, a college student nearing graduation, or a family member looking to support your student in their next transition, let’s work together!

My Style

Students flourish when they feel seen, and succeed when equipped with the right tools and resources to do so. I seek to create an inclusive, laid back environment where students and their experiences are valued. Through my courses and workshops, we work together to identify opportunities and challenges in your transition ahead, and then equip you with skills, tools, and strategies to ensure you feel in control and prepared for your transition to college or to early adulthood after graduation.
